Writer's Block - A Poem By Gian Carlo

I wrote this poem while I was living in Albuquerque a few months ago. Writing poetry was a huge part of my life while living in Puerto Rico and Colorado, but I felt uninspired to write in Albuquerque. Now that I am living in Santa Fe, I feel more inspired to write every day. I guess I am a product of my surroundings.

I've been having a creative writers block for a few years now, and I think I found my rhythm again.

The machine in my mind is slowing down and the quiet nights have made my mind loud.

The reality I imagined for myself is finally coming together as if it was a puzzle that was put  together by pieces from my memories, my ideas, and solutions for

problems that I haven't encountered.
